Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 cup whole milk (warmed)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk (adjust for consistency)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let sit until frothy. Mix in melted butter, eggs, and salt, then gradually add flour to form a soft dough.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl and let rise covered for 1 hour.
  3. For the filling, blend brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Roll out dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter over it, sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture and top with blueberries.
  4. Roll tightly into a log shape and slice into 12 pieces. Place in a greased baking dish and allow to rise again for 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  6. For the frosting, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
