  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
  • ½ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Thaw the puff pastry on the counter for about 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the ganache by heating heavy cream until steaming, then pour over chocolate chips and stir until smooth. Cool at room temperature for two hours.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Cut each puff pastry sheet into rectangles and score a smaller rectangle inside each piece to create a border.
  5. Fill each scored rectangle with about 1 tablespoon of cream cheese mixture and brush the edges with beaten egg wash.
  6. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Once cooled, spread ganache on top and enjoy!
